Aditi is an architect, urban designer, sustainable design educator and a business school graduate specializing in – Real Estate development, finance and Corporate sustainability. Her career goal is to integrate her international work experience, research and academic aspirations to find creative business solutions in the context of the reality of budgets.
Aditi draws upon 10 years of experience in transportation infrastructure projects with several city development authorities, as well as international multidisciplinary firms with projects spread across China, Singapore, Malaysia, Srilanka, India and the US. Aditi has also been associated with academics as studio director for the senior year at MBS School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi, India. She has translated her experience of multi-modal transit facilities, master planning, bridges, highways & expressways, and infrastructure facilities into a multidisciplinary urban design exercise.
In the US, her project experience is varied from redevelopment projects in real estate in downtown Boston, MA to rehabilitation projects in New Orleans, LA. Her student consultancy project with the Boston Improvement District (BID), at Downtown crossing and subsequent selection into the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) internship has allowed her to view the redevelopment from real estate finance, retail design, city development, operations and execution aspects.
She pursued her undergraduate dissertation studies (2003) on CPTED (crime prevention through environmental design) and further design explorations in her graduate thesis (2012) and community projects, that experimented with Justice-reinvestment and redevelopment in New Orleans-Treme. Furthermore at Tulane School of Architecture, her graduate scholarship and research on passive environmental technology and global building typology allowed her close collaboration with city partners as well as top corporations.
At Brandeis International Business School (IBS) her achievements include: Global Entrepreneurship scholarship, campus renovation for Brandeis University Facilities department, student consultancy projects in corporate sustainability and real estate development and academic papers. At Copenhagen business school, her academic focus was on CSR, energy including a business pitch to Skandia Bank for their community driven pilot project with the Danish municipality. She also have business development experience with Delhi Integrated multi-modal transit systems (semi-government enterprise).
Aditi sees her work as an extension of herself and a calling that fuels her passion for her craft and hopes as an academic to transform the world as only architects can.
